High school preparation. College-preparatory program required. Required and recommended units include mathematics 3, science 1 (laboratory 1) and foreign language 1. Engineering applicants required to have 4 units calculus and 2 units of lab science, including chemistry and physics. Science applicants required to have 4 units of math, including algebra 1 and 2, geometry and trigonometry; and 2 units of lab science including biology, chemistry or physics. Most other applicants must have algebra 1 and 2 and geometry as required math units.
